Scott Hall

I voted yes. Even though he played in a mostly run 1st, 2nd and 3rd style offense he stands 4th overall in the Career passing leader with 5,975 yards, 50 touchdowns and only 26 INT's. Of the top 5 QB's listed, that is the lowest number of picks by any of them. Hall sit's 7th overall in passing completion percentage at .538. But for me, his command presence and leadership on the field as a 3 time conference champion coupled with the fact he was an outstanding student in the classroom should be more than enough to put him in the HOF some day soon.

Absolutely. There's a bunch of players from those bowl teams that deserve to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame.

I do believe that they should have to wait several years though. I just can't fathom a bunch of twenty-something year olds receiving this honor. 10 years after their last game would seem to me the earliest that any player should be considered, and a coach (should we even open this can of worms right now?) shouldn't be eligible until 5 years after he/she has retired from coaching.

Of course he does, no doubt, great guy, great QB, leader, and graduated with an engineering degree from NT.

Along with these others who deserve to be in the Mean Green HOF

Brandon Kennedy

Brad Kassell

Cody Spencer

Don Mcgee

Patrick Cobbs

Darrell "MotherF*****" Dickey

4 straight conference championsips who else can do that.....

Steve H/B will tell you he'll eventually get in, just probably not this year.

They also concede that with this higher standard, some previous inductees probably should not be in there (they didn't point out names).

And the biggest knock on Scott that can't really be answered is that he won 1 FBS OOC game in his career. We agreed: it is an unfair reality that the QB bears that weight while other positions (such as Kassell at LB or Booger) did/will not have to worry about that.

So stupid.

I am so glad I am not on the panel.

I was talking about people during the Hall era, Quinn was an outstanding player and his name will be called to be in HOF in the future.

Gotcha. JQ should be a 1st ballot HOF'r

In your mind what is the the magic % number Hall needs from the fans in order to get in ? Are we going to go by baseball's standards of 75 % ?
