Absolutely. If you post something here that damages someone's reputation and it is proven false, you have a moral obligation to do everything you can to correct it. This is a well-read message board within the North Texas community. This is particularly true when you're talking about people who work at the school. Posting disparaging material here can hurt their careers.

If someone ever posted about information that could defamate someone then yes they should be held responsible in some way ( calling someone gay , a racist , etc.)

But , this is a message board and nothing more. This is the last place one should look to for accurate information. Yes , we can see when a game or practice starts , but message boards in itself as a whole are for everyone's expert opinions.

If someone predicts a future outcome on something and you want to go back and look at it and give that person props , cool.

If someone was way off on a prediction and you want to go back and call them out on it , cool

The last thing anyone should do on a message board is have hard feelings towards anyone. Everyone is different on their views. Saying , " Agree to Disagree " seems to be a lost art.

At the end of the day I think we all want the samething from our beloved UNT football program. Just WIN baby

Just wondering; with all the duplicate threads getting started these days, should this one get moved to something like "The Eagles' Nest", or will someone just start another thread for this same subject on another forum, maybe on "UNT News"?
