Second Fall Camp Scrimmage Is Open To The Public?

Why yes, I believe it is. Hmmmm, I wonder what must have brought about the change from the past two years in which we go from a couple of early practices and one scrimmage being confusingly promoted by the DRC as open to the public, to now the official athletic website encouraging people daily on their blog for folks to come out to watch practices at the fence at the AC and to attend the first two scrimmages? In fact, without even being asked about it from those in the audience, Coach Dodge told us at the Alumni Pourhouse mixer a few weeks ago that he takes responsibility for the mix up in communication that led to the confusion the past two years. Of course, as much as we greatly appreciate coach Dodge for saying that I don't think anyone lays all the blame at his feet. I greatly appreciate the change though.

But still, I can't help but wonder.............what could have possibly brought about the change in this policy? I just can't put my finger on it???????

If I can get my lazy rear end up early enough to do my 5 miles before the 8:15am scrimmage start I am hopeful that i will be there...count my bride out...no way she gets up and ready that early on a Saturday morning for a scrimmage...

It is at 8:15 at Fouts, right?

Thought you guys heading out to the scrimmage might want this bit of info from the Green Gang blog:

10:21

Steven B:

this programming note, tomorrow's scimmage is at 8:15, technically, but early out isn't until 830 so it's probably going to be around 845 till any hitting.

Gonna try and make the drive up and watch...Is it standing along the fence lines only? Should I bring the SUV so I can sit on the roof with the lawn chair and binoculars like a NASCASR infield?

... nevermind - it is at fouts - u don't need lawn chairs.
