Green Gang: The Great Hall Of Fame Debate

Who's your favorite for football Hall Of Fame induction?

My contention has been that at some point, Scott Hall should be in the HOF some day. Some say, "No, he wasn't that big of a factor for his teams because of how few stats he had". I say, if Scott Davis, who's teams never won a conference championship is qualified, then Hall certainly is because of his command presence, leadership on the field and his all out toughness.

Hash it out tomorrow.

You know the reason Scott Hall should be in the HOF? Well he is also part of the reason I came here. Dude went to my HS. The cheerleading coach, who taught the biology class I was in, had a UNT sticker on her desk. I asked about it, cuz I had never heard of it, she explained that Scott Hall played football there.

That aint the reason I came here, but it raised my awareness a little.

And we all know the good things that I have done since I have been a student here, right?

That's the first time I've taken a good look at our HOF.

Scott Hall has just about every angle covered to get in:

longevity? check

value to the team? check

winning? check

3 bowls (4?)? check

If you go on college performance alone (and not pro career), I might argue he should have been given priority over Kassell and any other members of the 2001 - 2004 squads with the exception of Booger. He was, after all, a DCTF POY and wasn't he on the cover (not that it should be the sole reason...)?

Did anyone remember Jalie Mitchell as a double sport HOF? Crazy, but I don't remember her on the grid iron.
