Can he catch a quick slant and take it to the money???

He and Outlaw have the jets to go deep and both seem to have good hands. Roberson is stepping up and Seidle was making some big catches over the middle from the TE, yep, TE spot. Theyv'e even tried some double TE stuff using Roberson and Seidle.

A few more Blog comments from this mornings practice.

Steven B: no question. The two biggest upgrades in thet speed department are Jamaal Jackson and M. Outlaw. Both are legit 4.5 guys or faster. Riley Dodge is also an upgrade in the speed department.

Ryan: I think we definatly have upgraded our speed on the offensive side of of the ball for sure. We got monumentally faster at the QB position with Riley Dodge, and our juco wide receivers are speedsters. We also get back our speed guy in the backfield, Lance Dunbar, who missed all but four games with an injury.

Ryan: And Riley just showed why he is the starter ... He just stepped up and delivered a perfect pass on the left sideline to BJ Lewis.

He just goes thru his check downs so fast, and usually always delivers and timely and well thrown ball.

Ryan: Riley as the QB keeper will be a serious threat this year - like you have never seen around here.

He just broke thru again, untouched into the secondary.

Ryan: I really like this offensive line. The starters always seem to have Riley covered, and even if there is a breakdown, he has one side or the other to run as an escape route.
