Obama used the question to segue into the "comparative effectiveness research center" aspect of the current House Bill. I will hand it to you, it came off as cold. Sarah Palin has been attacking this as the death squad. In the end it actually has no power to mandate coverage or allowed to be controlled politically. If you would like to learn some more about what he was talking about please see the link above.

So you don't believe your Lyin' eyes then. Ok, to each his own. I thought it was a simple YES or NO question. The fact he couldn't answer it that way to what looks to me as a simple looking/sounding person with a simple question over a simple concern tells me, or so it seems to me, he's hiding something. And he is, and we all know he is, and I realize he's not the only one but he's driving this bus so....?

You can officially consider the health care bill dead. If there is one thing that politicians are in tune with, it's their approval ratings. A 12 point hit in a 3 month span ensures the death of this ill-advised venture into health care.

way to early to say that. With talks of using the " neuclear option" rising this thing isn't dead. I would like to see actual bipartisan cooperation here though. Utilizing some of the republicans ideas in this thing and listenig to concerned constituants might giv e them the edge they need.
