North Texas On E S P N ... Sort Of

[UNT 90 Grad]

At 2:30pm today, ESPN was doing a special on Texas College Football. Unfortunately I couldn't hear any of it because I was in a restaurant and the sound wasn't turned up. They had the helmets for the Texas FBS teams lined up behind the commentators, most of which you couldn't see most of the time. However, in the dead center were the Texas and North Texas helmets getting the most exposure. Unfortunatly, they had slapped a white face mask on the North Texas helmet rather than a black face mask like they actually use.

I called someone and asked them to DVR it in case they talked of UNT. Based on the clips shown, I don't think we got much love at all. Anyone see this?

Not much on UNT. Least you could see our helmet. The other states with Sun Belt schools got shafted all together. No mention of Troy, Ark state or Middle Tenn, when they were up.

They didn't say anything about UNT Utep and only a little about every other school in texas. It was mostly about UT. But tomarrow they will cover Texas again and might talk about UNT or at least Joe Greene.

Wow the Sun Belt conference isn't living up to its potential. What a shock.
