Jason Newburg gave me Aerobatic training today in a Christian Eagle II, we did it all:

Torque Roll

Vertical Roll

Tailslide

Snap Roll

Slow Roll

Point Roll

Loop

Knife-edge Flight

Hammerhead

Lomcevak

Barrel Roll

and more.

I love his show plane it is the perfect color Green and I would go so far to say Mean Green!!

It was some wild training, and well worth it. The Lomcevak was the wildest move I have ever been in a plane for WOW, followed by the Torque Roll. Everyone with a stomach for should give it a try. I probably benefited most from the spin training and the tail dragger exposure.

Good stuff. My GMG.com user name was created back when I was taking flying lessons. I'd sure like to get back to it sometime.

I can arrange some flight training with this guy if you like. He can give you some great unusual attitude and recovery work. And it did not cost too much.

Well, I'm a married man now, so expensive hobbies, although certainly not forbidden, are severely frowned upon. But I will keep it in mind should disposable income increases.

That's pretty cool Tony. You going to get into competition soon?

Rick

Thanks Rick, No competition is way beyond my goals. I just wanted to do a ride or two at the professional level. The training is a bonus and I will probably follow it up with a few more flights just to make me a better pilot. I have flown several aerobatic flights in fighter/trainers both in jets and in AT6-Texans, but those planes are limited in what aerobatics they can do, yesterday we made the plane tumble which is just insane.

The price is right, under $200 for training and plane time. Flyer you can't beat that price for this kind of flight experience.
