Geo Dunham Not Pa Announcer W/ Cowboys

Saw a blurb on the Unticket that George Dunham will not be the Cowboys PA man at the new stadium. It was clear that this was Cowboys decision and not his. Hate it for George, I did not hear him at TX Stadium, so I do not know how good or bad he was. Oh well, I know we all love him and wish him the best.

A couple of days ago, the Ticket guys were talking about this.

They called up George, and had a discussion.

George was caught off guard. Jerry called him in and said the

decision was a "business" issue, and had nothing to do with

his job performance. The business issue was the Cowboy's

switched to a new flagship station, because the new station

will pay a ton of money for the Cowboy broadcast rights.

The new station's deal included dumping George, and

replacing the Cowboy stadium announcer duties with one of their

own announcers.
