I'm a big fan of preemptive celebrations.

So what you're saying is northwest on Nolan Ryan Expressway, around the circle and on to Road to Six Flags, south on to Collins...take it down around JerryWorld to Division, turn east and head to Six Flags Drive...go north and end things at Judge Roy Scream?

my sox's arnt looking so hot....rangers playing well

Getting shut down by the great ess that is Tommy hunter is kinda harsh, but that's ok because Beckett was kicking ass too. I am just happy to see some timely hitting from the rangers at this point

Fun trivia from Diamond Talk/ Mr. Bass:

Last night, five pitchers appeared in the game. Can you rank them in order of ERA from lowest to highest?

Drives me crazy. Although, I do love seeing the shots of all the heartbroken Sox "fans" in the stands as reality sets in for that particular game. Fun times.

Not off the top of the head... hold on espn is helping...

I am going to guess that it is a pretty surprising stat though...

I have spent many a night at the Ballpark during the Red Sox and Yankees games. So irritating to here people who have lived in Texas since they were 4 suddenly sprout the Boston or New York accent. The most irritating fans anywhere.

Interesting trivia indeed wow

O'day - 1.99

Hunter - 2.17

Wilson - 2.93

Jennings - 3.26

Beckett - 3.42

Wow, Beckett has the higest of the bunch.... That truly is amazing.

We will see if Hunter can keep it up. Our bullpen has been pretty solid all year and it is god to see Wilson closing games well again. He just looks much more confidant on the mound now.

Ron Washington is doing a pretty good job, but that is quite the lofty comparison.

Today will be a big test for the bullpen. CJ pitched his third straight day last night, so he is out - as did O'Day. Guardado and Francisco are sick. Grilli has a hurt ankle. Jennings is usually ineffective on consecutive days.

Mathis. Nippert. Eyre. Maybe...Feliz?

My excitement is getting back up a sweep of Boston would make my day. This is about as good as it could be regular season, and they could not sweep a team I like to see beat more.

Sox just traded for feast or famine first baseman Adam LaRoche. No idea if he's playing tonight...praying the Sox didn't overpay too much.

What if they overpaid too little?

Hopefully, Padilla comes through with a complete game and we don't have to worry about the bullpen. :scared:
