I read his book, "the language of God" and thought it was an interesting read. He is often criticized because he argues that science doesn't explain everything just as Faith (philosophy, religion, etc.) doesn't explain everything. Both are needed and compliment each other. I agree with his initial premise.

He was noted for calling the DNA that he put together in binary form from the Human Genome project as the language that God spoke us into being.
