Oh...don't you think that repeating an at best moderatly successful protest within 3 months of each other may lessen its effectivness? Even more?

NO...what better day than the 4th of July to carry on the spirit of what made this nation so great in the first place. The event at Southfork Ranch on the 4th is shaping up to be a great affair...maybe they will have one in Anacortes, Washington where my bride and I will be visiting our son and daughter-in-law for the 4th. Sorry to have to miss the local event.

Should be a very well attended and presented event.

Don't know? I think the move that Rep. John Boener made last friday was as much, if not more affective, especially by the time the senate get's it's turn at Tax and Kill. Last week people all across the country burned up the phone lines to their reps and showed that there are an increasing number of folks who are taking more of a concerned interest in what is going on. The fact that, even though this administration is using every questionable tactic they can come up with to push their agenda's, intentionally going after people to discredit and destroy anyone who gets in their way, and the very fact that 44 dem's still stood up against that kind of political pressure tells me that a lot of people are starting to wake up to what is going on. Keep an eye on the guy at the EPA who was told by his superior to basically shut up so that Global Warming could be used to force that bill on through. He'll be either out of a job by summer's end and/or pushed so far down in the basement no one will ever hear of him again.
