seems like he was quite the lifter 10 years ago. he still owns a couple of collegiate records in the dead lift (733 lbs) and the total weight (1708.5) for the 198 1/4 weight class. he also benched 405 lbs while at la. tech....stilll a school record. lets hope he can get some results like these from some of our players.

Even though he's orignally from the area, Im glad to hear we got someone that has ties to another part of the country. Any little bit of exposure helps when it comes to recruiting and marketing UNT.

Good for UNT!

So is he from South Carolina or southern California ?

And could these guys stand closer to the michrophone or just speak up. Hard for me to get excited about a strength coach with such a soft voice.

GO MEAN GREEN

Was at Washington University , before that Southern California.

Soft voice ?? Really ?? I don't care if the guy is mute , if he does a good job .

Michael Jackson had a soft voice too , but look what he did on stage.

Mendoza had a pretty loud voice and that didn't work out to well

Has USC roots as well. Hopefully, it will be easier for him to continue to build on what the last guy started so the players don't have to make any major changes so close to the season. I think this is a good hire.
