$50 million might run the full program for five years. But in reality since they don't have a major revenue sport like football and their basketball is only lightly supported it will still be the same ending, just delayed.

The eventual demise might be delayed, but at least they have a chance now of making some mid course corrections, i.e. marketing, better budgeting, etc.

Better teams?

It's amazing how easy it is to market a winner. Just ask the Mavs, Rangers, Stars, FC Dallas. People will follow a winner, they don't follow also rans.
