Should we add Texas State to the AAC?
We do not. I thought baseball was a major hole in our program until somebody mentioned SMU hasn't has baseball since the 80s. I had no rebuttal and stopped crying about it since then. -

Long article, but a good recap of where many issues stand. Main summary is that a unified Congress (Republicans) may be able to finally quell the lawsuits and keep the NCAA from eating its own over revenue to the biggest programs... ....................................................... "A bipartisan group of senators is drafting a measure to help prevent a split among NCAA schools. Many in college sports believe that an unregulated market will inevitably push the small group of schools that generate most of the industry's revenue to sever ties with the rest of their Division I peers. A split could create less interesting matchups for fans and jeopardize the ability of smaller schools to keep funding sports at their current levels. Cruz said he wants to give the NCAA the tools it needs to stop that from happening. "Nobody wants to see a handful of super schools with unlimited cash, all the best athletes and nobody else even able to survive," Cruz said. "For too long the NCAA failed to address issues to protect athletes, but obviously there is new leadership there at the NCAA," Blumenthal said. 152 after our win over Troy last night. We need to get back to where we were but that'd still be in the top half of the AAC. Do you guys even have a baseball team? Serious question. -

Should we add Texas State to the AAC?
Geography is great but you're not going to find an FBS conference with only Texas/Oklahoma/Louisiana schools worth a damn. Media partners want footprint and time zones. Need to find the next best situation. The ideal situation would be to join the PAC with at least another Texas school (to aid with travel), Memphis, and/or Tulane. We'd be exchanging the weaker east coast schools with the stronger west coast schools. If you wouldn't trade Charlotte, Temple, FAU, and UAB for Washington State, Oregon State, Boise State, SDSU, Fresno State, and Colorado State, you need to reevaluate priorities. I like USF, Navy, Army, and ECU but they're not necessarily better than any of the top new PAC brands either. No brainer to me if the money is even close. Especially if you factor in basketball. -

Which green is which?
These should never be confused or allowed to be substituted. In textiles A, B, and C are referred to as Kelly Green or Irish Green (same color); Also called North Texas Green. The last one, D, will always be listed as Forest Green is used by Baylor, Michigan St, Tulane, Colorado St, USF, and many others.
