So Much For An "open" Administration

So, you voted for "change" and it seems you have been once again fooled by the Obama Administration. I am certain everyone and, especially my more liberal friends on this board, recall the the cry that went out when the Bush administration refused, citing presidential privilege rules, to release the names of the "oil executives" the administration was meeting with in the White House. In fact, then Senator Obama, called for the release of the "secret list" of executive names. Shame on the Bush administration for hiding things and keeping meetings secret....shame...shame...and on and on it went for days, weeks, months in the papers and on the TV, etc., etc. There were calls in Congress for investigations for sanctions against the Bush Administration, etc. How could this be happening...Bush as no right to do this it was said....How in America the democrats said could this be happening!!!! The shame of it all.....

So, what happens now...the Obama Administration is holding "secret" meetings in the White House with coal company executives and has just refused, citing the very same privilege that the Bush administration cited, to release the names of those who attended the "secret" meetings.

Man, you just can't make this stuff up. I will bet you right here and now that this little bit of "news" sees VERY little media attention, until all those "right wingers" out there pick up on it and it hits the talk radio circuit.

Yep, that's the definition of change for this administration...do the exact same thing you chastised soundly the former president for doing and cite the same presidential privilege. Hmmmmmmmmm, and the sheep just continue to fall in line behind this guy. Amazing stuff this!
