Charr just took the job at Washington when Steve Sarkisian (sp?) was hired as the Huskies head coach back in December '08.

Would he make another move....this soon....for our job? Even if it means being a head strength coach?

I guess we'll see.

"Head Strength Coach" looks good on a resume.

Doing a little searching around, he looks like he's pretty intense, kind of like Coach Ausmus. Sounds like a pretty good hire.

What's the love affair with USC lineage coaches? A particular style of coaching developed at USC? The ability to tell recruits: "Hey we have coaches from UCLA, USC AND Southlake." Any ideas?

This position is a big part of what takes to have a successful programs. UNT has a former player who is one of the best strength coaches in the business by the name of John Lott who is the strength coach with the Arizona Cardinals. Wonder if any calls have been made to him for a recommendation. He may know of some coach some where who is looking to go to a Div. 1 program to make a name for himself.
