Can we please rename this forum either the "Nobama" or "We lost the election and we'll be bitching for four years" forum? "Non-UNT Sports" implies that a wide range of topics will be discussed when in truth it is quite the opposite.

If you don't like it... don't read it.

C'mon, you're a lib, you should be all for free speech.

I like the one I heard several months ago, The OBAMAnation of Desolation. Remember when this god spoke at Georgetown University the school was forced to cover the letters "IHS" in the background because they refer to Jesus Christ. He has already claimed that the United States is not a Christian nation.

When you see him stand in the Temple.............................RUN!!!!!

Jeremiah 20:10 For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

He has already claimed that the United States is not a Christian nation.

Treaty of Tripoli of 1797

Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

It was ratified unanimously by the US Senate.

Are you talking about Pres. Bush or Pres. Obama? Seems this would more apply to Bush since he had no media support, bad approval ratings, and no Hollywood status. Just sayin.

As the saying goes silent majority, vocal minority. Since Republicans are the minority, they're squawking the loudest now.

Yep .... down to 22% and falling.. That is all that will admit to being a GOP supporter now. Guess that reflects on how bad a job the previous President did.

According to a Rasmussen poll, more voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats to handle the economy, by a margin of 45-39. Scott Rasmussen notes that “this is the first time in over two years of polling that the GOP has held the advantage on this issue.” Last month, he had the Democrats holding a one-point lead, but they lost it in June’s polling.

--I got the 22% number from an article the front page of the Midland Reporter Telegram* aka Midland Republican Telegram. (newspaper). It appeared about two weeks ago.

*remember -- both Craddick and Bush claim to be from here... (very slanted to GOP).

Maybe I don't know what to google for. I could spend hours trying to it. '22 percent GOP support poll' only turns up 279,000 results. Such as:

The survey suggests that 22 percent of Republicans would most likely support former Arkansas governor and former GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee for their party's presidential nomination in 2012.

Bush's final approval rating was 22%

Another article about the GOP 2012 Front-runner

There are lots of articles out there about how there isn't a front-runner for the Republican party. I can only guess what he read since the article isn't archived on the newspaper's website.

To shout out a stat without referencing where it comes from gives it no credibility. "My local newspaper ran some national article saying 22% of ... some group ... now admit to being a supporter of the GOP" is not what I would consider a valid statistical sampling.

Kthanxbai.
