The great WWII author Stephen Ambrose reported in his books "D Day" and "Citizen Soldier" on more than one occasion as told to him by the men who were there that "EVERYONE attended mass that morning". Jews, Christians, Muslims, Agnostic, everyone spoke to the man upstairs and asked for guidance and courage.

God Bless those who paid for our Liberty with their blood.

what a spectacular group of individuals. I just got off the phi e with my grandfather and he told me stories of his buddies, and his expeiences. He was in the pacific but that didn't sseem to matter to him. As he spoke of his friends I could hear him tear up a bit, he stopped talking and took a deep breath. He has been an amzing I spiration to me and it is always difficult to hear him talk about those days and those people. As a world we are very lucky to have this generation of people and as a country we are very fortunate to have experienced that kind of valor and level of pride and service. I know that they are fading fast and before to long will be gone, I only hope that as a nation and as ayounger generation that we do not forget their service, valor, pride or selflessness.

Those guys deserve our highest respect, in everythi g that we do.
