You're not likely to regret it, regardless of the score. Sanford Stadium holds nearly 93,000 and is usually sold out, meaning just about one of every 100 Georgians is there. One of the great game day experiences in the country. All that, a legendary mascot, and they give us nearly a million bucks for showing up.

And heck, UNT might win.

Yeah.

Been there on opening weekend. Amazing experience. Kicked off after lunch with the heat index well over 100. Concession vendors couldn't come close to keeping up with the demand for water and sodas and a couple older fans flopped out from heat exhaustion.

This is why the mascot, currently Uga VII, has an air-conditioned doghouse at the stadium. And why the millionaires have SkySuites.

What a douche for bringing up last year's record. Every time he writes an article about North Texas he brings this up. Don't believe me? Just do a search of Tim Tucker's articles. Must be related to Vito <_<

The story's about scheduling creampuffs. How could he write about it without mentioning our record?

nice. how is the payouts or is it better for home team to keep the total gate in these?

Generally in home/home deals, you pay your opponent enough to cover expenses ($50,000 to $100,000) to come play you and then they pay you that amount when you return the game.

Isn't 2013 our 100th year of football at NT?

Yes. 1st and only game on record in 1913 was vs TCU and we lost 0 -13. We were a very young team then and the coach didn't have all his players yet in his system so I don't mind the loss there
