But look at the list and who has entered the picture (FIU). Thomas just signed a good juco player out of Midland (Kavon Lytch).

I see now that the Rivals page isn't listing his college choices. Here's his Scout.com list:

So he's highly touted and on the Rivals list....it had all these heavy hitters (Maryland, USC, Kansas, etc)....and also FIU.

Obviously, a good player....but from I'm reading he's a chemistry destroyer.

There is also some kind of issue with his father...I believe it was Outside the Lines who did a feature on him. He's big risk, big reward and probably a one and done...but he'd be a hell of a one and done in the SBC

I gather that he's the type of kid who would have probably gone straight from high school to the NBA... if you could still do that. One of the services has him listed as the 7th best player in the nation (I think it was Rivals).

STAY away...UNT and JJ does not need the one year distraction that this kid would be. I agree with the thought that this guy is a "one and done" player. Let someone else have the headaches and the disruptions.

I would love to see this kid land at FIU with Thomas....we all know how that would end up. FIU and Thomas in trouble.
