It really is a shame that the average person will most likely not be able to watch a game in the new palace.

That's the free market at work right there.

Maybe, but it'll be interesting to see how full the new stadium is after a couple years after it opens.

so would you rather hand out the tickets to the next homeless bum or mother of 8 with 7 different fathers?

Heck if it was built in CA, it would be the next Sanctuary Stadium for the illegals racing across the border.

Nope. It's Jerry's job to bilk as much money out of that thing as possible. No sweat of my back.

The stadium is magnificent in all of its might. I mean we are in Texas and everything is bigger.

But do you really have to putt the stadium is a horrible location in Arlington like you do.

The stadium would be much more accesible to people near i-30 or 360.....

Also the stadium would have been better in Carrollton, Dallas, Irving, Grapevine. Arlington is far off for most people in the metroplex. Its has if Ft. Worth now has its own NFL Football Franchise.

Traffic will be a nightmare when college and NFL games start.....Just watch and see..... Texas Stadium had 114, loop 12, I-35, and 183 all nearby Texas Stadium and traffic was horrible. Jerry Jones truly is an idiot and this was one of his worst ideas ever......

Also Good Job Jerry in securing a corporate sponsor for the new 1.1 billion dollar stadium, just truly pathetic, even UNT's new stadium has bites for corporate sponsors....

Actually, it's not. It's a taxpayer financed project, and Jerry is putting up virtually no risk. Arlington voted for a $325 million tax and will end up paying twice that.

Plus...

According to the fine print, Jones' share of the costs of the Cowboys complex will come from a 10 percent ticket tax and a $3 parking tax, city tax dollars handed over to Jones to help him pay his share of the billion dollar stadium costs.

Not only that, but the City of Arlington has been hoodwinked again with the promise of development that has not and will not (at least in time for the Supebowl) occur. Fool me once...

Cluck should be thown out on his ear. Arlington will get all the expense and risk of the Superbowl while Fort Worth and Dallas reap most of the economic gain. Arlington will also attempt to do stadium security on the cheap, so I'd wait a couple of games and see how it shakes out before going anywhere near that stadium.

It has cost $40-50 bucks for nose bleed seats in Texas stadium for a while now. I don't thin that the new one is going to be much different

I have said this since the thing started being built, but after getting my ticket request for the UA/ATM game, I am starting to have my doubts. The cheapest ticket for that game, in the nose bleed, is $85.

Might not even take a couple of years , could be something like the New Yankee Stadium
