My favorite is called "Waking Life"...also "A Scanner Darkly" is pretty salty...though neither of these are probably what you'd typically think of in terms of animated movies.

I haven't seen many of the new Pixar movies, but I'm very interested in seeing "Wall-E" and maybe "Up"

Theres a lot to be said for for "Who Framed Roger Rabbitt?"

And to really kick it old school, lets throw in "A Land Before Time."

I'm an old curmudgeon in that while I see most of the new computer animated flicks, I prefer the old hand drawn ones. The best relatively recent one for me that was beautifully drawn would be Spirited Away.

Oh, and while we're at it, I was a big fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline, but not so much with the Corpse Bride.

I'll add:

Wall-E

The Incredibles

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm

The Iron Giant

I have Persopolis, which I hear is quite good, on the DVR, but I have yet to watch it.

CBL...A Scanner Darkly was very good. I was pretty surprised.

Damn...I forgot all about Persepolis...the movie is shear brilliance. On par with Waking Life for me.

A Land before time is probably Number 3. I like some of the Pixar ones, but they just cant beat the classics.

If we want to throw in movies that have real actors mixed with the animation, how about "Pete's Dragon"?

In no real order:

Jin Roh

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (needs to be cleaned up for BD posthaste)

A few of the shorts from The Animatrix, but mostly The Final Flight of the Osiris

Most of Batman: Gotham Knight

Appleseed

Appleseed: Ex Machina

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (not viewed as a FF movie, but just a sci-fi flick)

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
