Denton School Board Names School After

This may not mean anything to most of you. But long-time Mean Green fans probably know of Popo and his wife. Popo was a barber in Denton for many years (until he retired).....and has been a Mean Green fan since the 50s. You may have seen him at a game before...as he will often dye his beard green for Homecoming (and other special games). Anyway, he's a great guy...and this is well deserved. Just posting this in case any others know Popo and his wife:

I agree with SUMG...the guy used to give me what was then called a "razor cut" when he had his shop over by UNT. Great fan of UNT and big community supporter. Good move by the school board.
