Adms can we please get a political forum or just a " other " section please ??

I miss coming in here and being able to discuss Mavericks , Rangers or whatever non unt sport topics that there are , but now it has pretty much turned into a politcal forum and I would just like some kind of seperation between the two , Thanks

Stars will be back next year, not a bad playoffs so far. Red Wings arent cruising through.

Much like golf, I bet NASCAR is a different experience if you are driving the car.

NASCAR = Sport... But the drivers are not athletes, same thing for golf. Any competitio where the contestants determine a winner or loser is a sport, while the contestants may not be athletes.

Gymnastics = Non-Sport... But the contestants are surely athletes. Anything score be judges is not sport, with the exception of boxing, and only because the contestant has it in his power to knock the other guy out.

I do agree that Judging should automatically disqualify anything as a sport.

The best comparison that I have heard is that Nascar is no more of a sport than an Airshow is. And I have to agree with that. It is a spectator's event - but not a sport.

Boxing has become a joke of a sport. Yes there are some real good fighters out there , but too many scandals , too many belts , poor judging and lack of marquee matchups has ruined the sport. If PacMan vs Mayweather can come to terms on a fight then it could help revive the sport.
