Whatever happened to the women's triple jumper that performed so well as a freshman a couple of years ago? I think her last name was Stanfield.

I wondered the same thing earlier and this is what I put together:

Brandi Stanfield's las competitive jump was at the SBC indoor championships. She had jumped twice with only moderate (for her) success. On her third jump she fouled and passed on the other three. Her first jump was good enough to get her sixth place. I have a feeling that she either severely pulled a muscle or had an injury from a bad landing.

This is pure speculation on my part but she hasn't competed the entire outdoor season. She was registered at the Texas Relays but supposedly scratched without competing.

They weren't the only school, but besides SMU let's just say there wasn't much competition. Another side note, it doesn't seem to matter if someone from a track club/independent won the event, if NT was the next in line then they officially won that event.
