That looks like a pretty friendly schedule for SMU. Start the season with a guaranteed win, get a potential win in game 3 against a weak Pac 10 team. I would expect them to win 3-4 games out of that schedule, maybe more.

Unfortunately, but quite frankly, SMU showed much more improvement throughout the 2008 season than we did. I think SMU has a good chance to start off the 2009 season with a 4-0 record. I hope I'm wrong, but a full season and spring training under the new system, coupled with a very favorable schedule leads me to believe that the upcoming season will bring wet dreams of the 80s back to the SMU fans.
