Coach Brad Stracke has signed Carlos Ortiz, the #1 ranked player out of the Mexican Junior Golf Association. Not sure what town Carlos is from, but in the D-RC today, he is ranked as the No. 220 junior golfer in the world (out of 6300 junior golfers ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard).

According to Coach Stracke, Carlos shoots some "crazy low scores." This season, Carlos broke the course record for a two-day tournament in Torreon, Mexico with rounds of 65 and 63. In October, he fired an 11 under for three rounds, to set the three-day tournament record at Guadalajara Country Club.

He has played in tournaments throughout the world. Sounds like a heckuva signing.
