Whoa, whoa, whoa. While I think the tea parties are kind of a waste of time...I wouldn't say they're what Garofalo is saying they are. Wow, lady. Wow.

Yes, some attending them are possibly racists. We can't look at this last election and say that racism didn't play a role in the voting process of some voters. Yes, some are also actual rednecks. But lumping them all up like that is a bit much.

Well the hypocrite on the same show in 2003, said Public Protests were Patriotic, I guess that is only true if your part of her party. The lady is an absolute idot and Ogreman is a tool.

And, just what did you expect from this bunch after seeing how successful the Tea Parties were across the country? I guess it's OK to stage such an event if it is Anti-America, liberal, pro-big government, not just if it is attended by conservatives made up of Republicans, Independents, democrats, etc.

By the way, I heard no "hate speech"...to even suggest that that was part of the reason for the Tea Parties is to show exactly how far out of touch one really is...good grief! I expected as such from the left, but it is a bit surprising to see who is "comming out of the woodwork" to speak out against the Tea Parties...can we just call them the "usual suspects" plus some?

After trying to tone down my anger and give a legitimate response, I will finally attempt to share my view, though I know this is not the best audience to share your opinions because anything you say makes you both less of a man (or woman) and "wrong".

This extreme juvenile news coverage of tea bagging and taint should be kept to comedy central. MSNBC has fallen into a broadcast media that is legitimately trying to compete with the Daily Show. Granted Fox has had its share of dumb things said as well, yet this constant tea bagging jokes are ridiculous. Mainstream media is doing anything for viewers and it is really starting to piss me off. If I wanted to laugh at how everything (both on the right and left) in this country and world is screwed up I will watch Comedy Central. The Daily Show was essentially created as an escape from the real news and is now sadly legitimate news coverage.

Secondly, how can anyone willingly invite Gerafolo onto a show? Team America put it the best, along with other celebrities it is there job to read news, not fully understand it and then share as fact. Her argument was based on our conservative brains forcing us to be racist... Seriously? When you use theoretical "science" to prove your argument, prepare to fail. I will not give this topic anymore of my time, it is not worthy of it.

It's hard to understand how we conservative "racists" and crazed gun lovers are the evil ones. Honestly both sides are to blame, this country is sadly beginning to show weakness and vulnerability to the rest of the world. The talk of secession always arises when a country begins to fail. Do I want to secede? Absolutely not, I love America. Am I opposed to secession? No. Every country was established on founding principles, the most successful countries with the correct set of principles will stand the longest but sadly will eventually fail. As years continue government will constantly grow, trying to control more and more. At first people will allow this, seeing some need for government control. It is when the government obviously crosses that line into a persons life that the talks of revolution begins, in honesty that is what a secession is. It is a revolution that you believe to be necessary so that you may regain your personal power, rights and ability to live in peace. Comparing this secession to the last in American history is not a legitimate argument. The original secession is argued to be over race, though race was a key factor it was truly about state's rights. This talk of another "secession" is based on the governments forced use of money we do not have. Money, the necessary evil it is, will eventually destroy any country.

I am sure responses to this will quote many other sources and try to prove my "ignorance" or "stupidity", but I hope you just take this as it is.

This is no threat, it is a warning. At this rate this country will fail. It is not solely because of Obama's policies, though they are speeding up the process. Yes Bush did begin the stimulus packages, and he should not have done that either. Dependence on imaginary numbers will crush us. Either the country will fall as a whole or it will be torn apart. No I have no time frame. It may be next week it may be 100 years from now, but know our downfall is now inevitable. Our downfall may not even come from this incident, though know one day people will rise against this nation with equal or greater strength.

Problems will constantly arise and not all men will ever agree, that is what makes us human. I hate Obama - I love Obama. I love guns - I hate guns. We will have a new stadium soon - We will not have a new stadium soon.

I just pray that I may enjoy peace at home as long as possible and that conflict may be avoided, but let it be known that when my personal life and those of my loved ones are threatened I will fight with such an invigorated spirit that I can never be stopped. I am not alone.

I rarely share these views, but when I do I hope that it can be understood that those who live in silence still pay attention. That is why we are called a Silent Majority.

What talent? She has some...please advise where? Just another second rate celeb opening mouth and inserting foot. It is amazing how these idiots get "air time" when it is so very obvious that they have not "done their homework" and have very little, if any, intelligent thing to add to the discussion. DUMB IS AS DUMB DOES! Just another case in point. Pay no mind as she has no mind to pay attention to in the first place.

I know that to be her actual personality. A lot of celebrities play political characters on the screen, but not her. That's who she really is. It's really, really difficult to be around.

This is what they're doing in Britain, re: "hate speech:"

A 14-year-old schoolgirl, Codie Stott, asked a teacher if she could sit with another group to do a science project as all the girls with her spoke only Urdu. The teacher's first response, according to Stott, was to scream at her: "It's racist, you're going to get done by the police!" Upset and terrified, the schoolgirl went outside to calm down. The teacher called the police and a few days later, presumably after officialdom had thought the matter over, she was arrested and taken to a police station, where she was fingerprinted and photographed. According to her mother, she was placed in a bare cell for 3 1/2 hours. She was questioned on suspicion of committing a racial public order offence and then released without charge. The school was said to be investigating what further action to take, not against the teacher, but against Stott.

Actually, many of the racists and the rascist sheriffs who were oppressive in the 50's were democrat. Sorry.

Idiots like Garafalo and Tim Robbins are a shame to the Democratic party. What good is a two party system when many of the Demorcatic Party's most "popular" spew nothing but vile and hatred.

I have no problem with anyone who is a Democrat. I just cant believe the vile and hatred that comes from some who then want to claim that Republicans and Consrvatives are the ones holding the country back in hatred.
