Cell Phone Help

15 days ago I bought a new AT&T HTC Fuze. The features of calling are an absolute whip to me, so I am trying to find out what kind of phones everyone has and whether or not they like them and or would recomend them.

Motorola DynaTAC 8000S...better call clarity than the 8000X, but it looks a little awkward when tucked in the fron pocket of my jeans...a bit bulky.

My wife and I recently went looking for new phones and settled on the new Blackberry Storm, and we both love it. Good phone call quality, great email capacity, and the Navigator turn-by-turn is awesome. It's taking some getting used to since we've gone from very basic service to this device, but I recommend it.

I have an iphone, and I love it, it is actually pretty business friendly and email works great. Call quality is good however it tends to drop calls alot more than my blackberry did on Verizon

I am head our IT department at my job and we highly recommend the iphone so far. I finally broke down and bought one as well. I love it. There is a new one coming this summer if you want to wait, but it will surely come with an increased price tag. The new OS update to be released shortly will resolve everything on my wish list. I have dealt with blackjacks, ATT Tilts, Nokia PDAs, Treo's and blackberrys in the end the iPhone has been the easiest to set up and trouble shoot.

So if I buy an iPhone, will I be able to update the OS when it comes out? Also, can the iPhone sync with my Outlook2007? Do I have to have a Mac computer for the phone to work correctly?

1. Update to 3.0, yes.

2. Sync with Outlook Mail, Contacts, and Calendar, yes.

3. Have to buy a Mac, no. It syncs through iTunes.

I've had mine since Christmas and can't go back to "regular" phones. I've found uses for it I didn't expect to. Hell, my employer was smart and allowed us to receive work emails on it a few months ago, and I haven't carried my issued Blackberry since. The only downside so far are the fingerprints and face smudge, but a quick wipe across your clothes take care of the problem.
