2009 Swim Across The Sound

Not sure if I'm allowed to post such a request...but I'll go on record and say that the mod who deletes this is emboldening cancer with their actions.

This summer, myself and three other swimmers (one a UNT grad, current grad student and member of the UNT triathlon sport club) will be participating in the 22nd annual Swim Across the Sound to raise money for cancer research, education and support programs for St. Vincent's Hospital. The swim will take place on August 1st and will cover the Long Island sound from Port Jefferson, Long Island, NY to Bridgeport, CT...a distance of 25 km.

Last year's swim raised over $350,000 for ST. Vincent's hospital...while the entire SWIM fundraising effort generated over $2.5 million in donations through a myriad of events throughout the year.

Below I've linked my personal donation page. Anything that you can give, whether it be your 1st born child's trust fund or just an encouraging word, will be greatly appreciated.
