If anyone has anytime and would like to research which one of these has Texas ties or were offered by North Texas in the past and could possibly land here please feel free. I'm willing to bet that JJ lands someone on this list.

Most likely : Alex Malone : RIVALS

Who I'd like the most : Malcolm White (from LA) : RIVALS

I'll try and do some research on Texas ties this week...but heres the Sun Belt transfers:

Nick Gagle, 6-0, G, Fr., Florida Atlantic

Mitchell Hampton, 6-7, F, Soph., Louisiana-Monroe

Reggie Lassiter, 6-0, G, Jr., Louisiana-Monroe

Tracy Parks, 6-0, G, Fr., South Alabama

Xavier Perkins, 6-4, G, Soph., Florida Atlantic

DeAndrae Ross, 6-1, SG, Soph., South Alabama

Gagle barely played and was borderline D-1 talent...Hampton is a developing forward, but probably wouldn't find a ton of time with ULM this year...Lassiter was a disappointment...Parks was a walk-on...Perkins showed he can play, but he can't stay academically eligible...Ross's play regressed in his sophomore year.

Also, no mention of Xavier Alexander (George Washington) on this list...but he does appear on a couple other transfer lists I've seen and I believe UNT is still in the running for his services.

Blaise Ffrench, 6-1, PG, Fr., UTEP

Transfer official per EPTimes.

He made the Fox list. You seemed unimpressed?

He's a NYC kid so not too much in the way of "local ties"

Three names to add to that list:

DJ Magley, Uros Komandic, Dejan Cvoro - Western Kentucky.

Spring signing period starts tomorrow! Lets go Malcolm White and Nafis Ricks!

Ill take DJ Magley, Marcus Brister & Anthony Harris to go along w/Holmen,Shorter

What is the Fox list?

The transfer link goes to Fox Sports

The more I think about things, I doubt JJ would go to Dom and ask him to be a sixth man...that would be the ideal situation for bringing in a point guard like Brister. I'd rather add a big combo like Ricks. That gives you three capable ballhandlers and scorers. I love the true point, but I don't see the benefit of just bringing one off the bench.

Harris was the Nebraska signee? He went to play over seas.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw Magley was going to transfer. I really like Magley's potential...and from reading Hilltopper Haven most of them are pretty upset he decided to transfer. I just don't think he fit McDonald's system. He is very athletic for his size and has some nice post moves, but he is also VERY foul prone (especially with this conference's shitty refs). It'd be a rare move for a player to transfer in conference, but I certainly wouldn't be upset if Magley lands here.

Also, where are you coming up with the 5th scholarship? Spencer staying as a walk-on or Mangrum not getting healthy?

This Harris went to play over seas ? HARRIS

I'm guessing we won't see Mangrum again , but it's just a guess

Yes, that Harris. He verballed with Nebraska...then backed out...then tossed his JC coach the deuces and has apparently gone to Europe to play professionaly.

I would've liked him too...it looked like he was a slightly bigger version of Tramiel with inside/outside ability.
