I played baseball and coached softball. No football so I’m lacking the game plan knowledge.
I realize there only 2, potentially 3 games left. Know you can’t install a new system or overhaul. But there can be some tweaks, I’m sure.
historically, what kind of defenses was Odom associated with? 4-man fronts? Blitzing? Heavy man-coverage?
Will we / can we notice a difference as we close out the season? The players will notice a difference, I’m sure, but will we?
Honest answers and discussion.
I appreciate Morris’ honesty and lack of coach speak. I would like to see him succeed here but he has to dial back the aggressiveness on fourth downs a tad. I think getting the defense squared away will help greatly just by taking pressure off of the offense where they feel they have to score every possession.
I am intrigued to see what Odom does with this group the remainder of the year. He has a pretty solid resume.
Well Army rarely passes so it made sense to use a 4 man front. We just don't have enough good players on defense so I expect ECU to pick up where UTSA left off.
San Jose State is hosting Boise State on CBSSN. The Spartans are ahead 7-0.....in the first half.
Would love to see BSU lose and open up the CFP spot for Army.
