Berry Center

I had the chance to drive by the Berry Center today, which is located in Cypress, Northwest of Houston. And wow!!! I was blown away by the facilities that they had. I couldn't think of anything else but how the Berry center put Fouts to shame, which is really sad. I'm sure that there are many other high school stadiums that would do the same. I know it only seats 16k but damn the thing is beautiful. It made me think of 2 things

1) How lucky we are to be here in Texas and have the type of high school football and facilities that we have. I used to live in Ohio, which compared to most states is still pretty crazy when it comes to HS football. But nothing in Ohio compares to what we have here in Texas.

2) I can't wait to go to the first game in the new stadium whenever it maybe and be able to say goodbue to Fouts finally.

OK, it looks nice but how do they expect to become "big time" if they don't build it "big time"? It should be a 50,000 seat stadium.
