Wow, and apparantly no one at the Fort Worth Star Telegram gives a $hit. Other than the standard bracket listing on page 7D of this mornings paper, not a word about yesterday's lowest seeded win?

How much money does that kick back to the Sun Belt? I don't like their chances against Gonzaga, but at least they made it out of the first round. Didn't we figure last year that UNT would end up getting like $50k or something from the WKU wins?

WKU is building up quite a reputation. There were a LOT of sportswriters and coaches that did not even see yesterday's win as a real upset.

Congrats guys ! Thanks for representing the Sun Belt so well the last 2 seasons.

Not trying to defend them, but it was the latest game to end. I think it ended after 9:30 out here...so around midnight back in Texas. Since it wasn't a Texas story they might've been going to print?

That's what surprises me...the lack of information in the media itself.

WKU has five consecutive 20-win seasons, and eight 20-won seasons in the last nine years. They've been to the NCAAs five times in those nine years, and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen just last year!

Granted, they have a new coach, but he's not some stiff. He was Rick Barnes assistant down at Texas for several seasons. It's not like the guy hasn't helped prepare teams for big games and tournaments.

I had WKU over Illinois in my bracket. My only misses yesterday were Clemson/Michigan, BYU/A&M, and Cal/Michigan...and those were tougher games to call.
