Kickoff Weekend

While we open before anyone else on thursday , sept. 3rd , which game will intrigue you the most on college football's opening weekend while we are at home resting up for Ohio U ?

I voted for UConn/Ohio U. I'd like to see what our next opponent looks like and how they fare against another mid major.

I went with UConn/Ohio U also...I want to see what Ohio U has on the field before UNT gets a crack at them the next week. And, because I have seen way to much of ZERO U!!!

I was torn between SMU/SFA and OkSt/Georgia but had to give the nod to the the Ok State game. I wanna see if they really have the goods or if last season I was right and they were an overrated squad that the rest of the Big XII got credit for beating. Seeing if SMU can barely squeak out a win against a 1AA is tempting too though...in fact, I think I may go to this game.

Heck yeah! The thought of SFA beating SMU is a huge attraction to me!!

Went with FAU vs NEB , but I would really like a SFA upset and I think Robert Griffin could be the most exciting player in the country

I picked U Conn vs Ohio, because Ohio comes down to Denton, Sept 12th.

I want to see how Ohio will handle the U Conn Huskies, Ohio's first game.

The Ohio Bobcat's, MAC, HFC is Frank Solich, the ex-Neb HFC, who is entering

his 5th year at Ohio. From the Ohio Bobcat's board, the Bobcat fans are

not too happy with the results Solich has produced. Early predictions in the

MAC, shows Ohio in the middle of the pack again. Currently, no mention of

any contract renewals or contact extensions with Solich. The Bobcat's have

several 5th seniors that began with Solich, while the following recruting

classes have been average to good.

NT opens with MAC power Ball State on Sept 3rd at their house. Ball State

is loaded, and favorite to win the MAC crown again. As with all MG fans,

we will see if NT can compete against a very good football team that will

be in the top 25 next season.

U Conn is a good team too, but not any where close to Ball State. Ohio

will travel to U Conn. These two teams will be more of a even match up,

with the favorite being U Conn, but not by much.

If Ohio loses to U Conn, I do like our chances against Ohio. I beleive this

game would be a good match up for NT, with NT having the edge.
