Wow, what a comeback effort.

This makes me feel pretty good about NT basketball overall. JJ has a pretty good program going and SS hasn't even brought in "her" players yet. I wish I could feel the same about football. :unsure:

You can Emmitt...just open your mind to the possibility that "good things are happening" with UNT football. I saw lots of "good things" at practice Friday. Go read the reports on the football board from Friday's practice. Almost as many fans showed up for practice as students going on the "free" bus to Hot Springs! Too bad you couldn't make it to practice. I "assume" you were not there as I saw most of the fans who were there and did not recognize that you were in attendance.

One does tend to find in life the things they are looking for both good and bad. Try to focus on the "good" and you might just start to feel a little better about the football team. Just saying......

BTW...this is not a dig at you Emmitt at all, it is just a note that you can feel good about UNT football because there appear to be many changes from the last two seasons already being reflected on the field.

      Softball vs. UAB (4/17 & 4/18/25)

      Mother Nature disrupts another softball series. With Easter on Sunday, and bad weather expected Saturday, the ladies will play one game tomorrow and a doubleheader Friday starting at 3 PM. Tight race in The American as we enter the last three conference series. UNT needs two wins this series to match their win total from last year. I maintain getting a top two seed is the highest priority but we are right there with #1 FAU and hold the tiebreaker, the only team in the conference to do so. Other Series This Weekend FAU @ East Carolina Memphis @ South Florida UTSA @ Charlotte Wichita State @ Tulsa I don't foresee South Florida or Charlotte losing this weekend, so a sweep at home against UAB is almost necessary.

      We’re not alone

      I read somewhere before the teams were even seeded that Florida, Auburn, Duke, and Houston were a step above every other team. There was some metric/stat they showed to back up the statement. So, yes, I think those teams were accurately seeded…though TT almost had something to say about it.

He reported also that Johnson left towards the end of the season. I knew I didn't see her any longer, but I thought maybe injuries, but it turns out she left like Abou did a few years back. Brackens went into the portal and has since landed at Tarleton State. The only people he says that are coming back are Tac, who was injured all season, Chania Price, and Talley.
