Another funny but true: Emmitt01 thanks for not giving me a speeding ticket, through your fair city, about 8-9 months ago or so, after we started talking about NT. It was obvious who you where, to me, but never did I say I was ee or you may have put me in the slammer. thanks buddy.

I wonder what the reaction would be if there was a website about what black people like? Bet a few unnamed civil rights leaders would be howling and snarling about it.

The site is run by the writer of the book of the same title. He's white, so that should make it okay. I mean, if a black dude ran a site/wrote a book and titled it "Stuff Black People Like" and wrote it in satire of the stuff city-dwelling blacks wrote, it'd probably be cool.

Though, there's a whole entertainment network that's actually seriously aimed at blacks. It's called BET, and it's the worst thing that's happened to black people since the end of the civil rights movement. I'm sure MLK rolls in his grave everytime someone tunes in.

Always tickles me when satire or humor about white people isn't met with appreciation or laughter for the grain of truth embedded in it...but is rather met with cries of reverse racism or questions of whether it would be funny if on the other foot. We already know the answer to your question in spirit. The portrayal of blacks in mainstream television, film, theater and literature tells us that stereotyping of what "black people are like/like" is clearly very very funny seeing as it is accepted and laughed at/taken as truth so freely.
