Indira Gandhi National Open University places more graduates into jobs each year than UNT does in a decade! They're passing us by!

The People's College of Law pumps out more JDs than UNT ever has, including Antonia Villaraigosa and Gilbert Cedillo, neither of whom passed the bar exam, yet PCL STILL has passed us by with a law school!

Then of course, as of the start of the 2007 season, for division 1A college football teams that had played at least 500 games total, the worst winning percentage belongs to Kent State University whose win loss record is 294-467-28 for a winning percentage of .390. That's over three times better than UNT's record the past two seasons! They're passing us by!

Florida State is the #10 ranked party school in the nation. They passed us by since we beat them in the 70s!

The University of Phoenix has more campuses and advertising budget than we do. They've passed us by!

I am suprised that Texas State has a nearby Embassy Suite/Convention Center with over 280 rooms... Very nice facility.

Texas State is passing UNT by....

But great news....Looks like a top notch facility, and John Q. Hammons is the right developer for the project......which is very important....Just ask the city of Denton and the idiots who planned the defunct Rayzor Ranch project.

It's not next to or near to Texas State. It's on the interstate by the outlet malls. It's within the same city limits and I knew SOMEBODY would latch onto that saying TSU is passing us by.

I guess the San Antonio-Austin corridor has passed the Farmers Branch-Muenster corridor by!

I would be very skeptical of JQH contributing to the stadium in any way. He is a Missouri State alum and already has two sports facilities named after him in Springfield, MO.

Oh, it is part of the deal. It is just how you describe the relationship. Success has a strange calling to people even in a depressed economy. I wonder just how much distinction there is between Mr. Hammons himself and the major company beneath him that actually runs the day to day business? If a stadium brought him (the company) more success for the hotel venture I bet he is savvy enough to help promote it or contribute directly. It's only logical for it to be closely related. How related??.....let's just see where this takes us. Not to mention (I'm stealling this from DallasGreen) the land near and around Rayzor (sp?) is a great place for a casino when Texas actually brings it in. We are setting on future developments in the north Texas that in 10 years could be the biggest Texas or the southern US has to offer. Please PM me for an even bigger possibility in the North Texas (Denton Frisco corridor along 380).
