Well crap. Now I'll never know the rest of the story. When I was in fourth grade, our teacher had us listen to Paul Harvey every day after lunch. Fond memories. RIP Paul.

My mother, a lifelong Democrat, used to listen to him every day at lunch. Some said that Paul Harvey was an out-of-touch conservative, but I think he just said what he believed. One of my brothers-in-law was a pilot for then TWA. One of the flight attendants came to him before a flight and said, "You're not going to believe who we have in first class, Paul Harvey and Muhammed Ali". Charlie went into first class, where Paul grabbed his arm, pointed at Ali, and said, "Can you believe it, that's Muhammed Ali, right here!".

Paul harvey will be missed. It's too bad that more of today's "media stars" are not more like Paul Harvey. The "rest of the story" is that he will be badly missed. RIP Paul Harvey. Thanks for the memories.

I will definately miss Paul harvey.... That is one of the best memories I have with my fater was listening to the Rest of the Story!

Truely a sad event. One of, if not the greatest newscasters in history, and definetly the greatest radio newscaster in history. Too bad there arent more like him. Greatness.
