Places To Eat In Houston

OK, I know some of you guys live in Houston or at least the Houston area. My wife is going to be in Houston early next month for a conference. The conference hotel is the Marriott near Hobby airport on Gulf Freeway (ugh, as I recall not the best of locations). But, she is looking for some "dinner" to set up some dinners with friends and associates.

If you have some thoughts on he matter...leave me your ideas here...or you could certainly PM me...I would appreciate some of your expert advice.

Frankie's (Italian), off NASA I Road. Not too far from Hobby, off I45 South.

Not much to look at from the outside but the food is excellent. Home to the Astronauts.

Deep Green...many thanks. In fact my wife is taking a couple of foreign visiting UNT professor types to Nasa for a tour as they LOVE space stuff and can't wait to see Nasa. This might be just the place for lunch/dinner with them. many thanks for the help.

I know H-town backwards and forwards so if you let us know what kind of restaurant she's looking for, I'll throw out some suggestions.

Another great resource is Yelp.com. I used it all the time in any new city and it has yet to let me down.
