It's a running gag, I know. But now that we're in the homestretch, it is obviously a crucial pair of games.

@ ASU

@ Denver

Now ASU gave us all we could handle in Denton. And Denver...they beat everyone at home. So, can we go 1-1 in this string of games? How about 2-0(thereby going on a 2 game streak!).

We shall see.

Can we? Yes

Will we? Remains to be seen.

CRITICAL...so very CRITICAL!!!!! How can two games be so very important to the survival of the human race? OK, but on a more serious note, I do hope UNT ends this two game stretch prior to the tournament with two wins. It would be great going to the play-in game on a roll with two back-to-back wins.

GO MEAN GREEN!!!!

With our topsy-turvey season I would not be surprised to lose these next two and then go onto with the last four. Ever since late November our season has been full of streaks, both winning and losing. Other than the Cameron contest all our wins have been part of a streak, and we've only had 2 losses(OSU and Houston) that were not part of an extended slide.

There is no play-in game. There are 3 teams with byes that advance directly to round two in Arkansas. The rest play in round one, hosted at the higher seeded team's gym.

It's just the first round game.

Jobs on the line? Count on it.

I'm told that Johnny Jones has already packed up his entire office and put the boxes in his car just in case we lose either of these games, because he already knows he'll be fired immediately.

I think Shanice Stephens might get fired, too, just to really emphasize how unacceptable losing either of these games would be.

No - face it, you got outclassed by the master.

There used to be this special ed kid in my fifth grade class who could never open his juice, so every day I would help, often without him realizing it.

Then, one day he saw me reached for it, so he smashed the juice with his fist and it got all over me. Then he pulled his genitals out of his pants, wagged them at me and just kept screaming "gotcha."

That just happened to you.

Exactly. The logical point in a season to fire your coach is right before the conference tournament.

And we've only had our butts kicked once (Houston) all season. Strange and unpredictable season.
