80, thanks, great info. However, these costs will not stay down for long in the infrastructure part of the stimulus begins to take shape in the next 6 months or so. Oklahoma, for instance, is already letting bids for projects based on the stimulus money they will get. Now if we can only convince donors that this crisis will pass, maybe not tomorrow, but at some point over the next 18 months or so, that the sun will still come up, and yes, we need to build a stadium. This window of cheap labor and material will not stay open for long.

Was wondering about that. That's the 1st time I've heard MEAN GREEN STADIUM and his model doesn't look anything like what the University put out

Not entirely accurate...but oh well.

If as it states the fee increase will make us competitive--why was it not instituted NOW vs. being tied to the stadium? Perfect example of RV held hostage by Dr. B while she is held hostage by students/faculty. Why would you not want to give the athletic dept. the funding it so desperately needs as well as showing a committment from the university that can be used to rally alumni? Gutless move as it stands because it is too much of a long term affair 2011? 2015? never? Waiting only puts us closer to the SLC than Mt. West or CUSA and noncompetitive now in SBC. No AD can win with a $3. student service fee !!!! Again why do we fear these students? Where else can they go fee or not? Show some guts Dr. B-- show a real leader's committment to D-1 athletics. Oh for another leader like Dr. Pohl!!!
