It does not matter what happens some on the board will find fault. As I said in an earlier post some always complain and

find everything wrong. As has already been stated this is really only his second recruiting class since he only had about

three weeks when he came here. I would like to see some who continually post negatives had to go out and recruit with the

same conditions he had here. I promise you they wouldn't have gotten as good as he has. I feel we will know after this season

if he will make it or not. Let us see, and quite with he doom and gloom constantly. I have never seen any good posts from some

on this board only the same old thing.

I got a couple of four stars after my first season in NCAA 2009 and I only played the game for like a week to finish that first season. Call me when Dodge fits in 10 seasons and 8 National Championships into that short a time frame. Or when he returns a late interception to beat LSU 21-14. Or when I get paid $200K plus to succeed at his job.

Maybe that could be our 2009 season slogan:

Todd Dodge - Obviously more talented than the guy on the internet typing 'bout football.

I think that's how Clemson used to market Tommy Bowden.

That IS a good advertising slogan. Can I expand on the campaign?

Don't believe in Todd Dodge? Well then, go f--- yourself!

If he wasn't the coach, we might not have won that one game last year.

you sure make a lot of demands for only your second post ever.

"you sure make a lot of demands for only your second post ever"

Me thinks Scrappyman may have posted a few times, but he has been observing for a long time, been thinking about it for a long time and did not feel the need to "earn" the right to share his opinion, first post or 5000th (get a life).

The re-hashers seem to be the most prolific posters. My guess is guys like Lifer and KRAM wouldn't post so often, if they didn't feel the need to defend against the barrage and repetitive "see no good" posters.

(and yes, those more positive posters do see problems in the program...just don't obsess)

So you would rather have a fan who wants more from his or her university and is obsessed about it or one that sits quiet and doesn't let it be known that yes there are maybe problems in the program ? Me personally I'll take someone who is obsessed about something , but that's just me.

If we don't strive for success than why even play the game ? Just drop down to FCS or do away with football all together

Bitchin about it on here will not change a thing , but either will not even saying anything at all. We are not in any position to tell someone we don't need you as a fan , as I will take any type of MEAN GREEN fan I can get. The more diverse we are the better we are doing because it means we have more fans. I will always stand behind this team no matter who suits up or takes the headset , but at the sametime this is a business and when I give my $$$ year in and year out I expect to see some results on the field and just like in the real world if I pay for something it would be nice to be rewarded with something in return from time to time.

At the end of the day I think everyone on this board is a fan or they wouldn't even waster their time and I for one am thankful for that.

NT03,

Ye who care enough to donate money have the right to say what you want. You infer you give money to the program, i.e. tickets, MGC, donation, merchandise, concessions, etc. If you invest in the program, you have the right to a stockholders report (on a regular basis).

The argument for the non-obsessor (sp?) would be:

Say what you want...to the right people, in the right way.

Avoid vitriol.

Avoid the desire to constantly derail a thread with the same crap over and over again (and yes, I am fully aware that the 4-5 positive posters on this board get tedious in their/our constant attempts to balance).

Fair and balanced, my friend.
