A label like that, and you want others to believe you're open-minded?

Truth Hurts. Do you see yourself in that statement.

I don't care what other people think.

I don't care what other people think.

All I saw revealed in that statement was a low intelligence quotient.

Obviously you don't care what other people think--your mind has been closed to what they think or know.

My intelligence quotient is close to 200. I don't know, is that low?

A Man with two degrees should know.

He was the party's choice for it's candidate for president. But you are correct. Most Republicans are far more right wing (ie closed minded) than McCain, and that is one of the major problems in this country.

closed-mind⋅ed

–adjective

having a mind firmly unreceptive to new ideas or arguments: It's hard to argue with, much less convince, a closed-minded person.

Origin:

modeled after open-minded

Such as... Thinking that "right wing" = "closed minded"

Or to put in SAT terms

If (in your mind): right wing = closed minded

Then: Pot = calling kettle ......

@Mean Green 93-98.

If you care to PM me then we can take our disagreement off the board and something might get accomplished, but I doubt it since you seem to be as closed minded as you accuse me of being.

No, I'd rather you explain to everyone on the board your "close to 200" IQ. Or else admit your dishonesty.

I'm just going off what the people MENSA tell me.

This is my final response on this thread.

Seriously, dude. If you were gonna make something up, you could've at LEAST made something credible, in that 145-155 range. You'd still be a genius. No need to claim to be all Powder meets Stephen Hawking (a concept I'm pitching to NBC this April).

No doubt. 200 is considered a "universal genius" and very few historical figures reach the mark.

Here are some who are not as smart as GreenBat (with their estimated scores):

Bobby Fisher (187)

Galileo Galilei (185)

René Descartes (180)

Charles Darwin (165)

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (165)

Nicolaus Copernicus (160)

Stephen Hawking (160)

Albert Einstein (160)

Jesus, GreenBat... quit wasting your time on here and go develop a warp drive.

Sir Isaac Newton (190)

I only found one guy other than GreenBat over 195 and that is - Physicist / Engineer Kim Ung-yong has a verified IQ of 210

There was some claim that Mozart put too many notes in his music; would a higher IQ have only led to more notiness?

And TMZ is your source for this story. That should tell you all you need to know. "Journalists" staking out celebs trying to ambush them into a sound bite.

Are you as critical of Bill Oreilly when he does the same thing?

My dear young man, don't take it too hard. Your work is ingenious. It's quality work. And there are simply too many notes, that's all. Just cut a few and it will be perfect.

I don't watch O'Reilly much either, but yes, if he used tactics similar to TMZ then I would be as critical.
