Gotta fire this back up.

Probable Starters -

PG. Justin Archie 6'0" 170 Soph. (3.8ppg, 1.6rpg, 1.5apg)

SG. T.J. Worley 6'4" 205 Sr. (16.2ppg, 3.7rpg, 40 3pt makes)

SF. Kyndall Dykes 6'3" 190 Sr. (16.4ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.6apg)

PF. Obi Ikeakor 6'8" 240 Jr. (2.4ppg, 1.6rpg)

C. Jaroslav Tyrna 6'10" 220 (7.3ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.2apg)

Key Reserves -

G. Darrian McKinstry 5'11" 175 Jr. (11.2ppg, 2.5apg, 39% 3pt)

F. Jahmal Burroughs 6'5" 215 Fr. (2.7ppg, 2.2rpg)

F/C Ejike Hart 6'7" 225 Jr. (3.2ppg, 5.2rpg)

The offense starts and pretty much stops with Dykes and Worley. Dykes is not a perimeter threat (1 of 13 from 3 this season), but he is the conference's best slasher, and showed that the last time UNO played UNT by scoring 25 points, 13 from the free throw line (13-20). Worley isn't a great outside shooter (32%), but he takes them in volume and is capable of getting hot. Archie's minutes at the point seem to be determined upon if he's hitting shots...like Worley, he's shown the ability to heat up from the perimeter, but if he stuggles look for McKinstry to see extended minutes. Tyrna's productivity has waned significantly as this season has progressed. Burroughs is a hard nosed forward who has seen his minutes increase due to injuries, and has taken advantage of the extra time. Ikeakor, Hart and freshman Johann Mpondo have been in and out of the line-up this season. None have really established themselves as a scoring threat, but they do give coach Joe Pasternak 3 capable big bodies when healthy.

I have no idea what to expect from UNT tonight. I don't know if you can use the ULL game as a blue-print, but another solid floor game from Dominique Johnson, an agressive effort from Tristan Thompson and Eric Tramiel and at least one solid contribution from the bench seem to be the formula for success. UNT really got none of those in their loss at UNO earlier this season.

Who knows if we can win these last seven games. ;)

We got a good start last week though, and we can't win 6 tonight. Let's just gonna focus on UNO, shall we, since they really own us. Hopefully the guys come out ready to battle and can pull out the victory.

I don't know what to say really.

Three minutes to the biggest battle of our professional lives

all comes down to today.

Either we heal as a team

or we are going to crumble.

dribble by dribble

Jumper by Jumper

till we're finished.

We are in hell right now, gentlemen

believe me

and we can stay here and get the shit kicked out of us

or

we can fight our way back into the light.

We can climb out of hell.

One half-court desperation attempt, at a time.

Now I can't do it for you.

I'm too old.

I look around and I see these young faces and I think

I mean

I made every wrong choice a middle age man could make.

I uh....

I pissed away all my money believe it or not.

I chased off anyone who has ever loved me.

And lately,

I can't even stand the face I see in the mirror.

You know when you get old in life things get taken from you.

That's, that's part of life.

But, you only learn that when you start losing stuff.

You find out that life is just a game of backboard shattering slam dunks.

So is basketball

Because in either game life or basketball

the margin for error is so small.

I mean one half step too late or to early

you don't quite make it.

One half second too slow or too fast

and you don't quite swat it in into the stands.

The bounce passes we need are everywhere around us.

They are in ever break of the game

every minute, every second.

On this team, we fight for that bucket

On this team, we tear ourselves, and everyone around us to pieces for that Monster Jam.

We CLAW with our finger nails for that sweet no-look pass.

Cause we know when we add up all those 3 pointers

that's going to make the f-ing difference between WINNING and LOSING

between LIVING and DYING.

I'll tell you this

in any fight it is the guy who is willing to die

who is going to win that opening tip.

And I know if I am going to have any life anymore

it is because, I am still willing to fight, and die for that crunk alley-oop

because that is what LIVING is.

The six inches in front of your face.

Now I can't make you do it.

You gotta look at the guy next to you.

Look into his eyes.

Now I think you are going to see a guy who will shoot free throws with you.

You are going to see a guy who will sacrifice himself for this team

because he knows when it comes down to it,

you are gonna do the same thing for him.

That's a team, gentlemen

and either we heal now, as a team,

or we will die as individuals.

That's basketball guys.

That's all it is.

Now, whattaya gonna do?

Coach said to fake right

And break left

Watch out for the pick

And keep an eye on defense

Gotta run the give and go

And take the ball to the hole

But don't be afraid

To shoot the outside "J"

Just keep ya head in the game

Just keep ya head in the game

And don't be afraid

To shoot the outside "J"

Just keep ya head in the game

U gotta

Get'cha get'cha head in the game

We gotta

Get our, get our, get our, get our head in the game

(repeat 3x)

Let's make sure

That we get the rebound

'Cause when we get it

Then the crowd will go wild

A second chance

Gotta grab it and go

Maybe this time

We'll hit the right notes

Wait a minute

It's not the time or place

Wait a minute

Get my head in the game

Wait a minute

Get my head in the game

Wait a minute

Wait a minute

I gotta

Get my, get my head in the game

You gotta

Get'cha, get'cha, get'cha, get'cha head in the game

(repeat 3x)

Why am I feeling so wrong

My head's in the game

But my heart's in the song

She makes this feel so right

(SPOKEN)

Should I go for it

Better shake this, yikes!

I gotta

Get my, get my head in the game

You gotta

Get'cha, get'cha, get'cha, get'cha head in the game

(repeat 4x)

Look, mister, there's two kinds of dumb. Uh, guy that gets naked and runs out in the snow and barks at the moon, and, uh, guy who does the same thing in my living room. First one don't matter, the second one you're kinda forced to deal with.
