QB keeps 20-year promise

Got to like that!

I noticed that one, and was truly impressed by Aikman for sticking with it; to me, he is still the man. Some people say he wasn't the same after his offensive line wasn't so great. I'm not enough of a scholar of the game to know if that's true, but I know the Cowboys haven't been the same since Aikman retired.

No Aikman = 0 playoff wins

Although I'm a REDSKIN fan Troy Aikman was one of the best of all time. He didn't have the gaudy numbers because he didn't have too , but I bet if he was asked to be in a offense that needed to have him throw 500yds a game to WIN he would no doubt do it.

The best QB of all-time..... Hands down....

I was just about to post this article, but im glad it was already posted. The Cowboys need him bad and quite actually if he was given some time to train he could still work some magic with the team.

Romo doesnt come close to Aikman, also Romo this coming season will be uncovered as the FRAUD that he is... 3 attempts no playoffs win and you dont deserve to be the QB in DALLAS.

Don't know if Aikman could be considered the "best quarterback of all time" or not, but there is no denying that he is one of the best qb's of all time. And...wait for it...a good guy too! This is something he had promised his mother when he left UCLA for the pros. The guy keeps his promise after 20 years. Pretty cool. He did say how proud he was of his sister for getting her degree, and he considers this achievement right up there with winning the Super Bowl. Said it was tough to talk to his kids and others about his lack of a degree. Man, how I wish other pros would take a page out of Aikman's book on how to act.

Did you see where he just bought another home in Highland Park. Good for him. Nice story! Too bad the "bad guys" get so much press.
