Even better - the DMN removed the post entirely. Mike Hindman - a Newberg Report guy - wrote it as a voluntary ombudsman saying that so far both local papers have missed the Donnely, Andruw Jones and Guardado signings before out of town papers as they allow the FWST guys to start handling the daily beat.

It's weird that a FWST sports writer would just miss the pulse of a team completely like that and simply rely on spoon-fed information from the PR folks and the people they are comfortable talking to...

It's pro baseball. Maybe they figure no one cares. Hey, they did send the Rangers to the Ft. Worth guys, right? Pretty funny. The did, however, cover the "A-Roid" non-news. Maybe they figure, no one is watching and no one cares. You guys didn't think I would miss this opportuity, did you? Just having fun.
