Both squads need victories, and both will have an oppurtunity.

The men play a 10-6 UALR team, that looks like it could challenge on their half of the league...except for the fact they play lousy on the road. Thankfully we have them in the Colesium so I can see it as a winnable game, provided we can play fundamentally sound ball.

The women play a UALR squad stuck in the basement of their side of the confernce. They have shown nothing on the road(being winless) but they are alright at home. Assuming we can pound the ball inside, we should be able to get a 'W'.

I think JJ will have the men in "survival mode" and going all out. It's make or break time already.

Agreed it's a must win for them.

The women I still think can challenge for the conference title.

  Fair enough. Just saw that her name is Kathryn but continues to use her childhood nickname of Smacker. I guess I am officially an old man shouting at a cloud but I just can’t with this one… On a positive note, despite Eric Morris, we had an uninspiring yet successful first half. Too bad we gave up a late TD but so much better to lead at the half, especially since I think we get the ball in the 3rd.

  And better ball control by the Offense to maintain drives by staying ahead of the chains. Some was due to better execution and passing, but also not forcing too many long passes that leave you with 2nd and 10, then 3rd and 5, then a failed 4th and 1. Not trying those may have been dictated by the strong wind.
