Greg Hall Of Denton Guyer

I guess this kid isn't that coveted by Division I-A schools. I thought he would be. I guess we didn't offer him, but read this about him:

Hall was one of the more remarkable stories of the season. He dropped nearly 80 pounds in the offseason after attending two sessions of a health camp. The 6-3, 285-pound senior was also named to the first team of the District 5-4A team. In his 10 regular-season games, Hall didn’t allow a sack and had 38 pancake blocks while grading out an 88 percent on the season. He has received an offer from Stephen F. Austin, but Guyer coach John Walsh said he expects Hall to receive Division I offers soon.

Edit: According to the D-RC...he is part of Guyer's signing day ceremony....and he will sign with SFA.

Shoot, he's too slow to be a slot receiver, what would we want with him?

Any time I hear or read ANYTHING about how well someone or a group of someones "Graded Out", I immediately assume that they failed at something even more important than whatever skill was being quantified. Or that whoever is quoted about their "grade" needs to be grabbed by the shoulders and shaken violently to jolt them into a proper perspective.

I'm sure I'm not the only North Texas fan with that prejudice.

I am disappointed this kid did not get more of a look by UNT. His work ethic is suppose to be outstanding, and the health camps he attended were no country clubs. This is one of those "overlooked" recruits that MG Insurance Pro suggested we start looking at. Heck, at least invite him to walk on. I hope Tasty is right, but this is disappointing.
